I recently wrote about the importance of staying grounded in our modern world, and what a huge difference this change has made on my happiness in life!
Part of my daily routine includes lots of fresh air and walking. I just love walking to the grocery store, running through my neighborhood, and walking to my favorite cafes with laptop in tow. That adds up to a lot of walking – usually 4 – 8 miles a day! I cannot emphasize how amazing it feels to keep moving freely throughout your day instead of being trapped in a car.
BUT, wherever you find yourself during your commute, I know you need some entertainment and inspiration! I am such a fan of podcasts and find myself learning something new to spark my creativity everyday through these favorites:
I love this podcast because it really helps me build creative focus and enhance my business thinking for my creativity!
This podcast is all about the stories behind some of the world’s best-known companies, like Bobbi Brown and Emily Weiss of Glossier!
Self Development and Empowerment
Oprah’s Masterclass – Such an inspiring podcast! Fabulous interviews with brilliant minds who share their vulnerabilities and how they overcame challenges along their path to greatness! This podcast always seems to make my cry in the best kind of way – so sensitive people beware!
Relationship Alive – One day I will defiantly go back to school and become a couples therapist, but in the mean time I’ll be listening and learning to this podcast and sharing my own relationship advice with you! Human beings and our traumas and relationships have always fascinated me, and I think relationships are something so critical to understand for our happiness in life. But good relationship skills are sadly not taught in school and often not taught at home. So check out this podcast for lots of great advice from expert therapists and psychologists!
Wise Traditions – I am a huge believer in Ancestral Health and have learned so much about how to nourish our bodies and hormones through nutrient rich, whole foods!
Mom Brain – I am not a Mom yet, but am totally obsessed with Mom Brain! I feel like Daphne Oz and Hilaria Baldwin are my two older sisters I never had that are teaching and preparing me for how to one day be a good thriving Mom and wife. This is so important to me because so many of us go into parenthood totally unprepared. And these ladies talk about everything from poop to sex to managing emotions and keep you laughing the whole podcast!
